Warsaw Woman To Serve Four Years In Prison For Stealing Merchandise From Walmart

WARSAW — A Warsaw woman will serve four years in prison for stealing merchandise from Walmart on multiple occasions.
Michelle Lynn Fulton, 38, Warsaw, was charged with two counts of theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, all level 6 felonies; and four counts of theft, all class A misdemeanors. Seven additional criminal charges were all dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
Fulton was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court One on Thursday, March 14.
In total, Fulton received a six year and nine month sentence at the Indiana Department of Correction. Four years will be executed and two years and nine months were suspended on formal probation. Fulton must also pay $855.25 in restitution to Walmart.
Between November and December 2023, Fulton was involved in a string of thefts at the Warsaw Walmart. During some of these thefts, a child was present. In one of the incidents, surveillance footage showed the child assisting Fulton with bagging items.
Fulton also has prior convictions for theft and check deception.
