WARSAW — Warsaw Community Schools is proud to announce the successful conclusion of the 23rd annual Warsaw chess tournament, which took place at Washington STEM Academy.

The Warsaw Education Foundation played a crucial role in the success of this year’s Checkmate Hunger tournament through a lifetime grant which ensures the purchase of awards and offers free entry to all participants. Their assistance ensures that all proceeds from concessions and T-shirt sales are directly contributed to Haitian aid efforts, marking the 12th consecutive year of partnership with Action Christian Team Services.
