Jamison C. Tanner — UPDATED
Jamison Charles Tanner, beloved son, brother and friend, passed away unexpectedly at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the age of 48. He was born in Ann Arbor, Mich., to Floyd and Debbie (Waite) Tanner on Sept. 26, 1975. Those who knew him best often spoke of his heart of gold, genuine helpfulness and unwavering dedication to everything he set his mind to.
Outside of work, Jamison found joy in various hobbies and interests that brought excitement and happiness to his life. He enjoyed traveling the country and driving for days. Jamison also loved motorcycles, fishing and dragons. However, one of his greatest pleasures was sharing moments watching action and sci-fi movies with his mother.
Jamison is survived by his grieving parents, Floyd and Debbie Tanner; his brother, Travis Tanner; his nephew, Andrew Tanner; niece, Madison Tanner; great-nephew, Blayze; and great-niece, Starlett. Additionally, he leaves behind several aunts, uncles, extended family members and countless friends who will forever carry memories of his kindness and companionship. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Betty Tanner, and Bob and Joann Waite.
Titus Funeral Home of North Webster is entrusted with the care of Jamison. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 25, at the funeral home, 8056 E. 500N, North Webster. On Tuesday, March 26, a second visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until noon at North Webster Church of the Brethren, 7281 E. 600N, North Webster. The funeral service will begin at noon with Pastor Bob Wyman officiating.
