WARSAW — Warsaw Community Schools’ administration would like to remind families that March 26 is the district’s annual kindergarten kick-off event for the 2024-25 school year.

The evening is designed to introduce WCS’s newest students and their families to the exciting experiences awaiting them in kindergarten.

Join the district at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at any of the WCS elementary schools. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. During the kindergarten kick-off, staff will dive into topics such as the registration process, immunization requirements, school safety protocols, before and after-school care options, and more. Additionally, families will get a glimpse into innovative programs such as STEM, Leader in Me and Dual Language Immersion.

All families of all incoming kindergarteners, who must be five years old on or before Aug. 1, 2024, to this informative session. For questions regarding your elementary district or for more information, do not hesitate to contact WCS’s offices.

Registration for all K-12 families will open online immediately following the event.

For those interested in DLI, please ensure to complete pre-registration and registration by May 31 to be eligible for the DLI lottery, tentatively set for June 10.
