WARSAW — April is shaping up to be an exciting month at Warsaw Community Public Library, with lots of great events catering to all ages and interests.

Families staying in town for spring break will find plenty of opportunities to engage in fun and educational activities. Plan to join us for Preschool Story Time on Monday evening, Family Activity Stations on Tuesday, Family Movie Day on Thursday, and Kid’s Yoga on Saturday morning. We also have two days of Library Lego scheduled on Friday and Saturday.

A highlight of the month will be the library’s first-ever Local Authors Book Fair on Saturday, April 13. This event will provide you with the opportunity to engage with local authors who are eager to share their creations with you. We hope you plan to join us for a day filled with inspiration, excitement and the magic of storytelling.

For families with little ones, the library continues to offer engaging story times throughout the month. Toddler Story Times occur on Wednesday mornings (April 10, 17 and 24), while Preschool Story Time and Activity Stations are on Friday mornings (April 12, 19 and 26).

Tween patrons will have the chance to become an honorary librarian for a week starting April 8. They can also learn how to knit on Tuessday, April 16, at Tweens Knitting for Beginners.

Teens are invited to showcase their talents at Open Mic Night on Thursday, April 11, and get creative on Tuesday, April 23, at Teen Coloring Café & Henna Art.

Adults can join in the fun, too, with activities such as Euchre @ the Library on Tuesday, April 9, Self-Defense for Women on Monday, April 15, and Crafting with Clothespins on Tuesday, April 30.

With such a great range of events, there’s something for everyone at Warsaw Community Public Library in April. Whether you’re a craft enthusiast, looking for family-friendly entertainment during spring break or interested in discovering more about local authors, the library welcomes you to join in the excitement.
