Sister Wants To Clarify Details Of Fatal Wreck
Dear Editor,
My name is Eugenia Chasse. You recently posted an article about a man who killed my sister, Alice Dills.
Upon reading your article … it was not his vehicle. It belonged to my sister. There’s one other thing that nobody’s ever mentioned: The day that they wrecked it, took my sister, but it also took her German shepherd, Ozzie. He was her beloved companion. He passed on impact, just as well as she did.
And I was told (the man) remembered, because his grandparents told me he remembered it all. I guess it’s just a way for him to get off easier for killing her.
No, my sister didn’t drive at night; she had night blindness.
But I hope you do fix your mistakes, and I hope that someone remembers Ozzie, because the man killed her dog, too.
He’s never once told any of her family he was sorry. Yeah, they were drinking beer. They were doing shots of alcohol and there was another man there, but he had left earlier.
