‘Martinis And Music’ Kicks Off This Thursday In Goshen
News Release
GOSHEN — Goshen Theater has announced a new music series called “Martinis and Music” that will kick off Thursday, April 18.
The series — being done in collaboration with WVPE public radio — will feature a different regional musician and local bartender on the third Thursday of each month.
Riffs on the classic martini will be available for purchase, along with a selection of beer and wine. Light snacks will also be available for purchase.
“We’ve wanted to open up our bar and lobby space to the public for quite some time now,” said Susan Visser, executive director of Goshen Theater. “We don’t think people have gotten to experience just how versatile our space can be. We’re so excited to be collaborating with WVPE to make this vision a reality.”
“Martinis and Music” is launching from 5-7 p.m. this Thursday at Goshen Theater, 216 S. Main St., Goshen. Singer-songwriter Mitch McLane will be providing music and Spencer Craigo of the Constant Spring will be shaking cocktails.
McLane is a guitar-playing singer-songwriter from Goshen. His musical journey began in 2008 as a summer camp counselor, sparking his passion for storytelling through music. In 2013, he co-founded the Tumbleweed Jumpers and became more involved in the Goshen music scene. In 2016, he launched his own ensemble, McLane and Co., known for their relatable lyrics and infectious rhythms. With two albums under their belt, McLane and Co. are gearing up for a third release later this year.
The event is free and open to the public.
