Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 5:55 p.m. Monday, April 15, South SR 13 and East CR 1000S, Claypool. Drivers: Jason R. Jones, 24, North State Street, South Whitley; and Susan A. Lewis, East Sixth Street, North Manchester. Jones’ vehicle failed to yield the right of way and hit Lewis’ vehicle. Jones died from injuries sustained in the crash. Lewis was transported by ambulance for complaints of abdomen, chest, ankle and wrist pain. Damages up to $50,000.
• 7:29 a.m. Monday, April 15, South CR 700E, Pierceton. Driver: Beth A. Reed, 53, East CR 1000S, North Manchester. Reed’s vehicle hit a deer. Damages up to $10,000.
• 10:10 p.m. Sunday, April 14, South CR 800W and West CR 25S, Warsaw. Driver: Danielle M. Yeazel, 32, North SR 19, Akron. Yeazel’s vehicle hit a cow. Damages up to $5,000.
• 8:16 p.m. Saturday, April 13, South CR 450W and West CR 625S, Claypool. Driver: Jenna D. Burton, 37, West Union Street, Claypool. Burton’s vehicle hit a deer. Damages up to $5,000.
• 6:34 a.m. Saturday, April 13, South Packerton Road and East CR 1200S, Claypool. Driver: Steven B. Reed, 65, EMS C19 Lane, Warsaw. Reed’s vehicle hit a deer. Damages up to $10,000.
• 4:13 a.m. Saturday, April 13, South County Farm Road and East CR 600S, Claypool. Driver: Jacinda A. Wuthrich, 30, South County Farm Road, Claypool. Wuthrich’s vehicle hit a deer.
