Garland Maurice Carothers, 86, Bremen, died at 4:25 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Signature Health Care, Bremen.

He was born May 30, 1937. On Oct. 6, 1957, he married Muriel Miller, who survives.

He also is survived by two sons, Shawn (Deb) Carothers, Arizona, and Dana (Sherri) Carothers, Nappanee; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
