WARSAW — A Warsaw man was arrested for allegedly threatening a woman.
Robert Castle, 62, 802 E. Center St. Apartment 126, Warsaw, is charged with intimidation, a level 6 felony; and false informing, a class B misdemeanor.
On Feb. 27, a Warsaw Police officer responded to a report of a person with a weapon. A man said he stopped his vehicle in an alley to speak with Castle when a woman drove behind him and honked.
According to court documents, Castle and the woman began to argue. The woman said Castle threatened to beat her up and partially entered her vehicle several times while she was seated inside of it. During the verbal altercation, Castle went into an apartment and allegedly grabbed a belt with a holstered firearm. A passenger in the woman’s vehicle said she witnessed Castle threaten the woman, but did not see Castle with a firearm.
While being taken to a local hospital, Castle denied possessing a firearm.
