Walter “Wally” Young, 82, Naples, Fla., formerly of Syracuse, died Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at the Cleveland Clinic, Weston, Fla.

He was born Nov. 30, 1941. His wife, Cleo Young, survives.

He also is survived by a son, Andy Young; daughter, Wendy Hampton; three stepdaughters, Stacey (Tad) Schrock, Nita (Paul) Gayheart and Natisha (Mike) Ball; and many grandchildren.

Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, is handling arrangements.
