PLYMOUTH — A woman was recently arrested for allegedly using a vehicle to hit a man in Marshall County.

Autumn J. Carlisle, 23, Grovertown, is charged with domestic battery by means of a deadly weapon, a level 5 felony; and criminal mischief, a class B misdemeanor.

On April 29, a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputy responded to a report of an unwanted subject in Plymouth. A man said Carlisle broke a window screen out of a camper.

According to court documents, upon arrival at the scene, the deputy noticed Carlisle was exhibiting physical signs of intoxication. She admitted to drinking alcohol several hours prior to the incident.

The man said Carlisle hit his leg while she was driving a vehicle and also hit him in the chest with a decorative candle.

The man had marks on his legs and chest, and the deputy also noticed tire marks in a grassy area and a window screen which appeared to be punched out of a camper.

Carlisle denied purposefully hitting the man with a vehicle and said he jumped in front of the vehicle while she was driving in reverse. She also refused to take a portable breath test.

Carlisle was booked in the Marshall County Jail on April 29.
