Kaiden B. Ruff
Kaiden Blake Ruff passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at the young age of 20 as the result of a tragic motorcycle crash in Elkhart County.
He was born in Warsaw on May 28, 2003, and was a 2021 graduate of Wawasee High School, where he participated in cross country. He spent most of his lifetime in the North Webster area but recently had moved to Nappanee.
Kaiden was a hardworking individual who worked as a materials handler at Lippert Components in Goshen. He always had a good sense of humor and was known for it at work and at home.
Those who knew Kaiden were familiar with his strong will and his independent nature. He enjoyed fishing and anything outdoors. Additionally, he loved dogs of all kinds and proudly supported the Chicago Bears and Notre Dame as an avid fan.
Those who survive with broken hearts include his parents, Dustin and Gina Ruff, of North Webster; brothers, Kaleb and Isaac Ruff, of North Webster; grandparents, Larry and Dodi Ruff, of Warsaw, Lloyd and LeeAnn Holderman, of Syracuse, and Dennis and Deb Elkins, of Columbia City; and great-grandmothers, Paula Canfield, of Clarksville, Mich., and Betty Poppy, of De Leon Springs, Fla. Kaiden was preceded in passing by his great-grandparents, Thomas Canfield, Marvin Ruff, and Wendell and Arlene Grass.
In honor of Kaiden Blake Ruff’s life, a memorial visitation will take place from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, at Titus Funeral Home of North Webster, 8056 E. 500N, North Webster. A Life Celebration funeral will follow beginning at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorials may be made to Dustin’s Place (for grieving children and families), 11802 Lincoln Highway E., Plymouth, IN 46563, or dustinsplace.org.
