Goshen Man Arrested For Allegedly Driving Under The Influence

WARSAW — A Goshen man was arrested for allegedly driving while under the influence.
Maycol Ramos Martin, 20, 1257 Wilson Ave., Goshen, is charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a class C misdemeanor; and operating a vehicle with an ACE of 0.08 or more with a prior conviction, a level 6 felony.
On May 4, a Warsaw Police officer was patrolling when he saw a vehicle traveling below the posted speed limit and weaving within its lane. The officer pulled the vehicle over and identified its driver as Martin, who was exhibiting physical signs of intoxication.
According to court documents, Ramos admitted to drinking two beers. The officer noticed the rear passenger tire of Martin’s vehicle was also completely flat.
Martin refused to participate in field sobriety tests and tested 0.15% BrAC on a portable breath test. Certified chemical test results are pending.
Martin was previously convicted of OWI in Kosciusko County in June 2023.
Martin has already been arrested and released on bond.
