Ivy Tech Pride Art Gallery
News Release
WARSAW — Ivy Tech Community College Warsaw is celebrating the local LGBTQIA+ community this June with a free Pride Art Gallery. Local artists will be showcasing their work from 4-7 p.m. June 17 and 18 each day at Miller Hall, 2545 Silveus Crossing, Warsaw.
The participating artists have shared their bios below:
Zee Anweiler is an illustrator, writer, designer, Dungeons and Dragons “dungeon master,” and “general Swiss army knife of a person.” Anweiler is self-defined autistic and nonbinary. Anweiler spends time telling stories and making art that celebrates the gangly, furry, toothy monster inside of all of us.
Nikki Horikawa’s bold art reflects her personality and experience. Among her works are textiles for Pink is Punk!
Ben Keffer’s Wandering Press works to produce high-quality hand-drawn and hand-printed products — products that aren’t just aesthetically pleasing but take on new meaning to the viewer through the power of words and give back to a world in need of love.
Kaesyn Green creates art that aims to honor the inner child and delight in the simple comforts, including Dungeons and Dragons, fantasy and fan art.
Robin J. Moss is a trans storyteller who finds wonder and magic in the small things of the world. Moss hopes to create art that provides a magnifying lens for others to discover some of that minuscule magic.
This event is free and open to everyone. No pre-registration is required.
