Elkhart Man Arrested On Possession Of Child Pornography Charges
Press Release
ELKHART — An Elkhart County man was recently arrested on alleged charges of possession of child pornography.
Joshua Grosenbacher, 28, was arrested on eight counts of possession of child pornography, all level 5 felonies; and two counts of possession of child pornography, both level 6 felonies. Grosenbacher was taken to the Elkhart County Jail.
This investigation by the Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began when a tip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The tip ultimately led to a search warrant being served on a residence located at 3114 Birch Drive, Elkhart, by ISP.
ISP oversees the ICAC Task Force, a multiagency task force that investigates allegations of using the Internet to sexually exploit or entice children.
The ICAC Task Force encourages Hoosiers to report online exploitation, solicitation, and enticement-type crimes against children to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The NCMEC website can be accessed through the ICAC Task Force website.
The Indiana State Police was assisted by the Elkhart County Prosecutor’s Office, Elkhart Police Department, Lagrange Police Department, United States Department of Homeland Security Investigations, and United States Border Patrol.
