Area Police Reports
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:
- 10:33 p.m. Monday, June 17, 6000 block of South Birch Lane, Rochester. Officers investigated a call about men walking around a property with firearms and communicating with signals. Officers searched the area.
- 8:39 p.m. Monday, June 17, 9000 block of West CR 700N, Culver. Caller reported stolen irrigation wires.
- 12:03 p.m. Saturday, June 15, West SR 110 and North CR 600W, Rochester. Officers responded to a call about a cow on the side of the road. The cow was returned to the pasture.
- 8:45 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2100 block Peace Tree Village, Rochester. A caller reported a downed stop sign.
- 1:48 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 700 block of Cherry Tree Lane, Rochester. Officers responded to a call that two young men kicked in the caller’s door, then fled on foot. They were shirtless and wearing shorts. There was minor damage to the resident’s back door and window.
- 12:02 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2000 block of Sweetgum Road, Rochester. Officers responded to a call about an assault. A witness said they saw the suspect hit the victim several times on the left side of his head. The victim said he was fine to drive.
Goshen
Officers with the Goshen Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 4:21 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2300 block of Lincolnway East, Goshen. Mitchell Gomez, 29, Ligonier, was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart. He was released pending a future court date.
- 12:08 a.m. Sunday, June 16, 2000 block of Elkhart Road, Goshen. April McMillen, 39, Warsaw, was found in possession of methamphetamine. She was released pending a future court date.
