LOWELL — John Deere recently invested $7 million in a 234-acre plot, which will be the site of a 1.2 million-square-foot John Deere warehouse/distribution facility at 2105 W. 181st Ave., Lowell.

The project is expected to create hundreds of permanent jobs.
