UPDATE: Warsaw Woman Flown After Wreck South Of Warsaw

WARSAW — A Warsaw woman was flown with non-incapacitating injuries after a wreck on Monday afternoon, July 1, south of Warsaw.
It happened at 2 p.m.
According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office accident report, Viki Rife, 68, West CR 350S, Warsaw, was transported by Parkview Samaritan helicopter after the two-vehicle wreck on South SR 15 at the intersection of West CR 300S.
Rife was traveling in a 2009 Toyota Prius. According to the report, she said she was stopped on CR 300S at the SR 15 intersection facing westbound. She said she looked both ways before turning left to travel southbound on SR 15 when a 2014 Ram 1500 truck driven by Ismael Ortiz, 53, Anchorage Road, Warsaw, collided with her vehicle.
Ortiz said he was traveling northbound on SR 15 when Rife’s vehicle pulled out in front of him, leading to the collision.
Rife complained of lower leg pain. Ortiz complained of left arm pain.
Damage is estimated at up to $25,000.
