KOKOMO — A statewide Silver Alert has been declared for a Kokomo man.

The Kokomo Police Department is investigating the disappearance of James Umbarger. He is an 83-year-old white male and is 5 feet,10 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and has gray hair with brown eyes.

He was last seen driving a white with blue top 2000 Cadillac Deville with Indiana license plate UWJ534.

He was last seen at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 4. He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
