ANSWER: TIM CROY
Croy grew up in Warsaw, attended Jefferson Elementary School and graduated from Warsaw High School in 1979.
He moved to Mentone in 1986 and became very interested in the town. He served with Mentone EMS from 1998- 2016. Croy joined the Lawrence D. Bell Museum Board in 2000 and currently serves as the board president. He ran for a position on the Mentone Town Council in 2004, was elected and is currently serving his 21st year on the council. Croy also joined the Mentone Fire Department in 2004 and remains a member of the department. He also joined the Mentone Chamber of Commerce Board in 2014 and currently serves as vice president. I’m called The Mayor of Mentone.
Croy works with Habitat for Humanity and donated two building sites in Mentone. He is a member of Mission 2 Mentone and recently joined SAWs. Both groups do repair work for people who cannot afford to or are unable to do it themselves.
He is married to Jacqueline (Walton) Croy. They have seven children, 28 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
