Milford Public Library — Enjoy Lunch At The Library

MILFORD — Lunches and breakfasts are available in Milford Public Library’s parking lot from 11-11:30 a.m. Monday to Friday. All children in the Milford community ages preschool through 18 years old are invited to come to the library and get a lunch and breakfast. You do not have to participate in the library’s summer reading program to get the lunches. The last day for lunch is Friday, July 26.
Cupcake Decorating Adventure Winners
There was a cupcake adventure at the library Wednesday, July 10. The Friends of the Library baked cupcakes and the challenge to the children was to decorate the cupcake as close to the already decorated cupcake for their age group. They had a total of 32 attend the challenge. Winners were Savannah Gingerich, Anna Miller and Caleb Troyer. They each took home a new cake decorating kit to practice their decorating skills.
Guest Storyteller
Katy Stoller was the guest storyteller on Friday, July 12. She told the children about “The Jungle Book” by Rudyard Kipling. Stoller told the children about the characters in the book, including Mowgli, Bagheera, Baloo and Kaa. Craft was making Kaa from an old man’s tie and some stuffing. There were 35 people attending the story time and 12 new books were given to families.
