Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 6:08 p.m. Monday, July 22, South CR 220W and West CR 600S, Claypool. Driver: Devon M. Brown, 32, Claypool. Brown was driving at an unsafe speed when his vehicle crossed the center line and went into a field. Damage up to $25,000.
• 4:40 p.m. Monday, July 22, East CR 600S, west of South CR 400E, Pierceton. Driver: Rebecca A. Harvey, 45, Claypool. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.
• 12:57 p.m. Sunday, July 21, North CR 650E and East CR 150N, Warsaw. Driver: Madison R. Freeman, 25, Albion. Hit deer. Damage up to $10,000.
• 3:20 p.m. Saturday, July 20, West US 30 and North CR 800W, Atwood. Drivers: Tara Depew, 50, Etna Green; Jayton Brock, 22, Warsaw; and Alan Koontz, 70, Columbus, Ohio. Depew’s vehicle failed to yield right of way when she crossed the intersection of US 30, striking Koontz’s vehicle. Koontz’s vehicle then spun and hit Brock’s vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.
• 1:34 p.m. Friday, July 19, East Armstrong Road, at the intersection of North CR 200E, Leesburg. Driver: Jasmin Marcum, 18, North 2500 Eastroad, Beaverville, Ill. Marcum’s vehicle left the roadway, entering a field. She reported back pain and was taken to a local hospital. Damage up to $10,000.
• 11:17 a.m. Friday, July 19, North CR 650W, at the intersection of West US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Arron R. Cripe, 21, Bristol Avenue, Middlebury; and Larry E. Druckamiller, 58, East CR 300N, Warsaw. Druckamiller was backing his vehicle to compact asphalt when his vehicle was hit by Cripe’s. Damage up to $5,000.
• 7:15 p.m. Thursday, July 18, South Packerton Road, at the intersection of East CR 225S, Warsaw. Drivers: Larry E. Cripe, 84, West Naomi Drive 2, Naples, Fla.; and Jannice M. Engle, 58, South Country Club Road, Warsaw. Cripe disregarded a stop sign at the East CR 225S and South Packerton Road intersection. His vehicle hit Engle’s. Cripe complained of wrist pain and Engle complained of wrist and lower leg pain. Both Cripe and Engle were taken to local hospitals. Damage up to $25,000.

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 4:37 p.m. Monday, July 22, North CR 1100W and West CR 550N. Driver: Brian L. Kunce, 53, Monterey. Hit deer.
• 2:37 p.m. Monday, July 22, South US 31 and East CR 350S, Rochester. Driver: Tina M. Roempagel, 51, Indianapolis. Hit debris.
