Three Events Coming to Downtown Wabash Aug. 16-17

WABASH — Downtown Wabash, Inc. will host its annual Summer Sidewalk Sales event in conjunction with the 25th Annual Dave Kunkel Cruise-In and the Downtown Wabash Farmers Market at Paradise Spring Park on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 16-17.
Downtown Wabash Summer Sidewalk Sales
Independent retailers in Downtown Wabash will feature shopping deals on special items and seasonal products including boutique clothing, books, antiques, thrifted vintage and more. During Summer Sidewalk Sales, visitors are invited to stroll the iconic streets of Downtown Wabash while perusing clothing racks, home decor, artwork and more.
Summer Sidewalk Sales are made possible with support from Event Partners: Downtown Nutrition and Terrell Realty Group.
This event will take place Friday, Aug. 16; and Saturday, Aug. 17. Hours vary by business.
25th Annual Dave Kunkel Cruise-In
With classic cars lining the beautiful Honeywell Center, the 25th Annual Dave Kunkel Cruise-In will be a true spectacle. From shiny hot rods to elegant convertibles, this free community event is a paradise for car enthusiasts of all ages. More than 400 cars are entered into the Cruise-In annually and compete for awards spanning numerous categories. Funds raised at the event will go toward ALS research in honor of Dave Kunkel, a native of Wabash County.
This event will take place from 3-9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16; and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17.
Downtown Wabash Farmers Market
Visitors can find handmade, homemade and homegrown goods along the paths of the beautifully lush Paradise Spring Park in Downtown Wabash. More than 35 vendors will feature items including fresh produce, meats, dairy products, homegoods, plants, arts and artisan wares. Shoppers are invited to experience more than just vendor offerings at the Downtown Wabash Farmers Market including live music, food trucks, Kids Corner activities and more.
The Downtown Wabash Farmers Market in 2024 is presented by Bowen Health Clinic. Additional support comes from Event Partner: Grow Wabash County.
This event will take place from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 17.
Trolley No.85
Trolley No.85 will give free rides throughout the Downtown Wabash district for easy transportation between all three events. Trolley stops include Paradise Spring Park, Veterans Plaza, Eagles Theatre, The Legion, The Depot on Canal Street and the East Market District Lot for easily accessible parking.
This event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17.
