Rautenberg Arrested For Residential Entry

WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested after allegedly entering a home without permission.
Ryan Paul Nicholas Rautenberg, 36, 342 S. 325E, Warsaw, is charged with residential entry, a level 6 felony; and invasion of privacy, a class A misdemeanor.
On June 3, Kosciusko County 911 dispatch received a call from a woman who said Rautenberg entered her home and then fled outside. The woman said she had a restraining order against Rautenberg.
According to court documents, during the call, the dispatcher heard yelling. The woman said Rautenberg was yelling from inside her garage.
A Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to the scene and spoke with the woman. She said she was in her home with a child when Rautenberg entered the residence without permission through an unlocked door. The woman said Rautenberg had never lived at the home.
Rautenberg left the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
A no-contact order issued as part of a separate criminal case stated Rautenberg could not have any contact with the woman. This order was issued in December 2023.
At the time of this incident, Rautenberg was on pre-trial release for a criminal confinement and domestic battery case. He also has prior convictions for battery with a deadly weapon and residential entry in Kosciusko County.
Rautenberg was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on July 18.
