Jacob Moneus

LAFAYETTE — A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared for an infant from Lafayette.

The Lafayette Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Jacob Moneus, a three-month-old black boy who is one foot 11 inches tall and weighs 13 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Jacob was last seen wearing a blue shirt with a black bird on it and a diaper.

Jacob is missing from Lafayette, which is 63 miles northwest of Indianapolis, and was last seen at noon Saturday, Aug. 10. He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
