WARSAW — Calvary Chapel Lake City will host a free Biblical Worldview Conference at Lakeland Christian Academy, 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17.

Theologian, pastor, author and podcaster Dr. J.B. Hixson of NBW Ministries will share relevant information about the deceptive world in which we live and the importance of a Biblical Worldview.

“He’s good at staying in tune with what’s happening in the world and comparing it to what the Word of God says,” said Calvary Chapel Lake City Pastor Marc Transparenti. “Taking a look at relevant events of the time, shifts in culture and how they compare with what the Bible predicts will happen. And also what are our Biblical standards.”

Over 100 people have already registered and space is limited.

“Dr. Hixson is a well-studied and respected scholar. He’s got a doctorate. He’s written books, done a number of podcasts and radio and traveled all around the world. To have him come to our small town is a great opportunity.”
