Londa L. Meredith
Londa Lynn Meredith, 60, died Thursday, July 25, 2024, at home in hospice care surrounded by loving family. Londa is the wife of Marlin Meredith and loving mother of four. They shared 39 years of marriage.
Londa was born in Warsaw to Larry and Judy Harris. She attended Wawasee High School, graduating in 1981. She married Marlin in November of 1985 and started a family shortly after. Londa went on to be a loving homemaker. She worked several jobs throughout the years and enjoyed cleaning houses the last few years.
Londa will be forever remembered for her loving spirit. She loved to dance and laugh. She was an avid reader and found calm in her novels. She enjoyed to cook and made meals for all to enjoy. Londa had a motto, “Dance as though no one is watching.” She exemplified that every day. Momma Londa was a charismatic soul who touched many lives the past 60 years. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her husband, Marlin Meredith; children, Natasha (Rick) Worland, Cameron (Audrey) Meredith, Colin Meredith and Tele Kay Viola, and Veronica Meredith; siblings, Charles (Tami) Harris, Gary Harris and Melinda (Jim) Webb; grandchild, Rylee Worland; cousins, Travis (Rita) Harris and Trent Harris; and fur children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Judy Harris; in-laws, Vernon and Marcella Meredith; and grandparents, Mary Cantillion, and Jack and Betty Snider.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, on the Dixie Boat Sternwheeler located at 401 S. Dixie Drive, North Webster. A second memorial of life celebration will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at Indiana VFW at 12863 Old Meridian St., Carmel.
