Classic Arts Programs Renamed ‘Community Arts Program’ to Commemorate 40th Anniversary Season
News Release
WINONA LAKE — This year commemorates the 40th anniversary of delivering high-quality, community-based choral music for Kosciusko County.
The Warsaw Community Choir was organized by Rev. Richard L. Anderson in 1984 when he was commissioned by the Warsaw Ministerium. Since then, the community-based choir has continued to focus on bringing together men and women, high school age and above, from the community who share a love for music through singing in harmony. Our ensemble brings quality choral music to Warsaw/Winona Lake and the surrounding communities of Kosciusko County.
In 2001, the Lakeland Youth Chorale was created to provide high-quality choral instruction to children outside of their school and church experiences.
In 2024, Classic Arts Programs changed its name to Community Arts Program, to collaborate with all art forms in Kosciusko County. Additionally, the individual performance groups have been renamed to reflect the mission of the organization.
Community Arts Program groups include:
- Vocal Vision
- Vocal Vision Prep
- Vocal Vibes
- Vocal Vision Youth
- Summer Music Academy
