Beth ‘Elaine’ Warren — UPDATED
Beth “Elaine” Warren, 71, peacefully passed away at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw. Prior to her short stay, she was living in her home.
Elaine was born in Warsaw on Sept. 14, 1952, to James and Illa (Wilson) Outcelt. She graduated with the class of 1970 from Pierceton High School. She looked forward to their yearly class reunions and was just at their 54th class reunion this year.
She was a homemaker and worked part time at places in Warsaw, including Penguin Point. She was a loving mother with a vibrant personality, and she loved socializing. She was thankful for each day and enjoyed every second of her life.
Elaine was a member of Bethany Fellowship in Warsaw and participated in Bible study. She was very active and much enjoyed going to the Senior Center; it was the highlight of her week. She was a prior member of the American Legion and the VFW. Elaine was also a member of the Warsaw Moose and enjoyed singing karaoke on Friday nights.
She could be found drawing or doing crossword puzzles. Elaine loved glitz and glam, was a huge Temu shopper and fancied wearing jewelry from head to toe.
She is survived by her son, James Koser, of Warsaw; “adopted” daughter, Rhonda Gibson, of Warsaw; and her brother, Jay (and Carol) Outcelt, of Warsaw.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Megan Elaine; and husband, Larry Kenneth Koser.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. with Elders Andrew Beverly and Ngozi Aberdeen officiating.
