Aguilar Arrested For Allegedly Battering Two People

MILFORD — A Warsaw man was arrested for allegedly battering two people while in the presence of several children.
Rigoberto Aguilar, 39, 3699 N. 175E Lot 43, Warsaw, is charged with domestic battery committed in the presence of a child and domestic battery with a prior conviction, both level 6 felonies; and domestic battery, invasion of privacy, and battery resulting in bodily injury, all class A misdemeanors.
On Aug. 14, officers with the Milford Police Department and Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an unwanted person at a residence.
Officers learned the person, later identified as Aguilar, went to the residence to retrieve personal belongings. According to court documents, Aguilar became violent and kicked a woman at the home. Four children at the scene attempted to hold Aguilar down and Aguilar allegedly bit one of the children.
Officers noticed physical marks on the woman and a bite mark on one of the children’s forearms. A fifth child was also present during the altercation.
Aguilar has a prior battery conviction in Kosciusko County.
Aguilar was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Aug. 14.
