Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 1:42 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, North Fox Farm Road, west of North CR 200W, Warsaw. Driver: Timothy R. Westerhof, 46, Springwater Circle, Indianapolis. Westerhof was traveling east on North Fox Farm Road on a motorcycle when his vehicle hit some gravel debris. This caused Westerhof to lose control of the motorcycle. Westerhof was taken to Parkview Hospital in Warsaw for left shoulder pain. Damage up to $25,000.
• 7:57 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, North Old SR 15, south of West CR 600N, Leesburg. Driver: Henry G. Guzman, 24, West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Guzman’s vehicle left the roadway two different times, rolling two times before coming to a stop. Guzman was later arrested for allegedly operating a vehicle without ever obtaining a license. Damage up to $25,000.
• 12:04 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, West CR 600N, at the intersection of North SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Vincent D. Divaccaro, 30, Short Street, Winona Lake; and Ryan S. Mikel, 21, West CR 850N, Etna Green. Divaccaro was reversing his vehicle to make room for a semi to turn when he backed into Mikel’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
• 8:13 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, North CR 450E, north of East CR 1000N, Syracuse. Driver: Scott Norris, 68, East CR 1050N, Syracuse. Norris’ vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $10,000.
• 4:21 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, South SR 15, north of West CR 700S, Claypool. Drivers: Ashlee S. McKinney, 28, East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw; and Ralph McQuinn, 70, West CR 1300N, Macy. McKinney’s vehicle hit a deer while traveling north on SR 15. After hitting the deer, McKinney was unable to see the roadway and entered the oncoming lane of travel, hitting McQuinn’s vehicle. A trailer on McQuinn’s vehicle hit a utility pole while traveling off the roadway. McKinney complained of shoulder and chest pain and was transported from the scene to a local hospital. McQuinn complained of shoulder and upper arm pain. A passenger in McQuinn’s vehicle, Peggy S. McQuinn, 66, Macy, complained of back pain and was transported from the scene. Damage up to $50,000.

Fulton County

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 7:08 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 7038 N. SR 25, Rochester. Driver: Jamie C. Guzzo, 43, Rochester. Guzzo’s vehicle was side-swiped by another vehicle.
• 6:50 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, CR 1000W and CR 300N, Leiters Ford. Driver: Holly Smith, 31, Rochester. Two-vehicle collision.
