Floyd D. Burton Jr., 73, Knox, died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, in Knox.

He was born Dec. 13, 1950. His wife, Linda (Johnson) Burton, whom he married Sept. 12, 1970, survives.

He also is survived by his son, Tim (Jennifer) Burton, Knox; daughters, Susie (Chuck) Wieringa, Knox, and Emily Burton, Plymouth; three grandchildren; and a sister, Sheryl (Anthony) Barricks, Palestine, Texas.
