Warsaw Man Arrested For Allegedly Stealing Man’s Wallet, Making Fraudulent Purchases

WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested for allegedly stealing a man’s wallet and making fraudulent purchases.
Knikolas Dustin Disbro, 38, 2374 W. Nina Lane, Warsaw, is charged with theft, a class A misdemeanor; and theft with a prior conviction, a level 6 felony.
On July 2, a Warsaw Police officer spoke with a man who said he lost his billfold. After this, eight fraudulent transactions were made on one of the man’s cards. The transactions totaled $46.42.
One of the businesses where a fraudulent transaction was made provided law enforcement with a picture of the individual making the charge. According to court documents, the image was posted to the Warsaw Police Department Facebook page, with several people identifying the suspect as Disbro.
Several additional security videos from various businesses also showed Disbro as the person making the transactions.
Disbro was previously convicted of theft in Kosciusko County in March 2020.
Disbro was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Sept. 12.
