Warsaw Homecoming Parade to Change Route Due to Weather Concerns
News Release
WARSAW — Due to the potential for wind gusts and storms, Warsaw Community Schools is closely monitoring weather conditions to ensure the safety of all participants and spectators during the 2024 Homecoming Parade. As a precautionary measure, the parade route will be adjusted to remain close to campus.
Revised Parade Details
The WCS 2024 Homecoming Parade will begin at 5 p.m. from the Warsaw Community High School Performing Arts Center. The modified route will travel in front of the high school, turn into the Washington/WCS Central Office Drive, then onto Kincaid Street, and continue down Union Street until reaching the Edgewood Service Drive. The parade will then loop back around to the Performing Arts Center. Parking will be available in multiple lots on the school campus to accommodate spectators.
WCS will continue to monitor weather conditions and will make further adjustments if necessary. Any additional changes will be communicated through WCS social media channels and directly to parents promptly through a Parent Square alert.
