MILFORD — A possible electrical fire caused damage to a 16-foot by 68-foot mobile home at 315 E. Williams St.
Milford Fire Department was called out at approximately 11:58 a.m. today, Friday, Oct. 4, for a mobile home fire.
Turkey Creek Fire Territory and Plain Township Fire Department were called for a full assist, but later told to disregard the call.
Milford Fireman Todd Haines reported a female occupant was at home at the time and noticed the fire when she took trash outside. There were no injuries.
Firefighters arrived to find smoke billowing from the roof and a fire around the front door. The fire had burned through the side of the home. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and checked the home for further fire, which was extinguished. Fans were used to remove the smoke from the home.
According to Kosciusko County records on Beacon, the home is owned by Gabriel Camarena.
