Warsaw Woman Arrested For Allegedly Stealing Items From Dollar General Store

WARSAW — A Warsaw woman was recently arrested for allegedly stealing items from a Dollar General store in Kosciusko County.
Brandi Sue Wright Custer, 41, 5910 S. Woodland Lane, Warsaw, is charged with theft, a class A misdemeanor; and theft with a prior conviction, a level 6 felony.
On Jan. 28, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a theft report at a Dollar General store on SR 13. A store manager said Custer stole multiple items from the store.
According to court documents, Custer used a self-checkout lane and only scanned some of her items. When the manager confronted her, Custer left the items and exited the store. She left behind items she paid for and a personal bag containing her driver’s license.
Custer has a prior theft conviction in Kosciusko County from June 2017.
Custer was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Sept. 30.
