Warsaw Man Arrested For Allegedly Threatening Several People
Staff Report
WARSAW — A Warsaw man was arrested for allegedly threatening several people during an event in downtown Warsaw.
Billy G. Pullin, 69, Warsaw, is charged with two counts of intimidation, both level 6 felonies; intimidation, a class A misdemeanor; and disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor.
On Sept. 24, a Warsaw Police officer responded to a report of a man, later identified as Pullin, harassing and threatening multiple people. A man at the scene said Pullin cursed at him. When the officer told him he needed to stop, Pullin began cursing at the officer.
According to court documents, when the man walked over to the officer in an attempt to give a statement, Pullin began yelling. When the officer told him he was under arrest and needed to stop yelling, Pullin continued to yell.
The man told the officer Pullin had been causing issues for the last few hours and was disturbing individuals at an event in downtown Warsaw. Two additional witnesses said Pullin yelled and cursed at individuals during the event. They also heard Pullin threaten a man at the event.
Pullin denied threatening anyone, then made a threat toward one of the responding officers. He also made a threat to an officer while he was at the Kosciusko County Jail.
Pullin has already been arrested and released on his own recognizance. He has an initial hearing at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, in Kosciusko Superior Court Three.
