Man Flown After US 30 Wreck At Etna Green

ETNA GREEN — A man was flown by helicopter after a wreck on US 30 at Etna Green.
The accident happened about 2:45 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, in the eastbound lanes of US 30 just west of SR 19.
According to an Indiana State Trooper, the driver of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van failed to stop for a red light and crashed into the back of a Peterbilt semitractor-trailer.
The driver of the Sprinter was flown via Parkview Samaritan helicopter to Fort Wayne.
Also responding to the scene were Lutheran EMS, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Mentone Police Department and Etna Township Fire Department.
