Enrique Vela, 61, Nappanee, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024, at home.

He was born Feb. 14, 1963. His wife, Maria Rosalia (Guzman) Vela, whom he married Aug. 17, 2018, survives.

He also is survived by his daughters, Linda (Raul) Quintanilla, Highland, Virginia (Christopher) Moore, Fishers, Andrea Vela, Highland, and Emily (Israel) Robledo, Highland; his stepdaughters, Esther (Jesus) Vargas, South Bend, and Christina Grear, Nappanee; his stepsons, Joseph (Jessica) Tener Camarillo, Bremen, Victor Perez (Mechele McCullough), Nappanee, Samuel Perez, Nappanee, and Esteban Perez, Nappanee; his sisters, Alicia (Tonya) Vela, Plymouth, and Josie (Elias) Gonzalez, Mishawaka; his brothers, Santiago (Bonnie) Vela Jr., Florida, Ruben (Diana) Vela, Syracuse, and Lionel (Roxanne) Vela, Inwood; and his 21 grandchildren.
