K-CODE Announces Grant Proposal Awards For 2025

WARSAW — The Kosciusko Coalition on Drug Education recently announced its grant proposal awards for 2025.
Access to these funds will be available for each receiving organization beginning on Jan. 1, 2025.
Listed below is each receiving organization, the amount of awarded funds, and what the awards will be used for:
- Kosciusko CARES – $2,400.89; Strengthening Families training program, mileage, program incentive cards, supplies, staff training
- Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office DARE – $8,879.80; DARE program, workbooks, graduation materials
- Winona Lake Police Department DARE – $6,219.31; DARE workbooks, T-shirts, supplies
- Tippecanoe Valley High School – $3,500; student random drug and alcohol testing
- Serenity House – $1,000; scholarships, books, drug tests
- Kosciusko JCAP program – $2,000; Purdue Extension, high school equivalency, art therapy classes, program equipment
- Rose Garden Recovery Community – $7,000; drug tests, scholarships
- Fellowship Missions – $3,000; training, drug tests, travel, workbooks
- Kosciusko Community Recovery Program – $1,000; funds for replacement birth certificates, drivers’ licenses
- LITE – $4,000; mileage, training/certifications, scholarships, breathalyzer
- Beaman Home – $1,000; recovery program materials, books, journals
- Bowen Health Crisis Stabilization – $2,000; staff training, guest travel/physical needs
- Winona Lake Police Department – $3,951.40; tasers
- Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office – $2,800; mobile communication terminals
- Milford Police Department – $5,100; tasers
- Warsaw Police Department – $4,148.60; drug test kits
- Kosciusko County Reentry Court – $5,000; training, travel
- K-CODE coordinator annual fees – $12,000
- K-CODE operating expenses/supplies – $9,000
