Trick-Or-Treat On The Trail Is Oct. 26 In Winona Lake
News Release
WINONA LAKE — Trick-or-Treat on the Trail returns Saturday, Oct. 26, to Winona Lake.
Winona Lake Limitless Park invites you to the free event. The trick-or-treating portion will be from 3-5 p.m.
There are two entrance/exit points: Chestnut Street or Kings Highway. You will not be able to enter the trail from the Boys City Drive trailhead.
Want a flatter route or have small children? The trail begins at the greenway entrance located next to the street department at the bottom of the Chestnut Street hill. The route will follow the greenway to the Boys City Drive trailhead loop.
Don’t mind a hilly route? Follow the greenway to the bridge and then turn, taking the extension that leads up to Kings Highway. The route will not cross Kings Highway.
Want to hit it all? Go for it! We just ask that you always hit the vendors to your right side when following the route.
This will help reduce cross traffic on the greenway.
People may park at WLLP, the gravel lot off of Park Avenue just past the bridge, the overflow parking lot next to the street department on Chestnut Street, Winona Lake Town Hall or Miller Field at Grace College.
Following the trick-or-treat portion of the event, join us back at WLLP from 5-7 p.m. for games, s’mores, and a special showing of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” at dusk. There will also be shaved ice and coffee.
No pre-registration is required. In case of inclement weather, this event will be canceled.
