Richard L. Johnson, 87, New Paris, died at 12:22 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024, at Goshen Hospital.

He was born Dec. 4, 1936. His wife, Janet (Smith) Johnson, whom he married Sept. 21, 1956, survives.

He also is survived by his children, Craig (Lisa) Johnson, New Paris, Tambra (Steve) O’Brien, Plainfield, and Tim (Susan) Johnson, Brownsburg; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
