Governor Directs Flags To Be Flown At Half-Staff In Noble County

INDIANAPOLIS — Gov. Eric J. Holcomb is directing flags to be flown at half-staff in Noble County in honor and remembrance of U.S. Army Sgt. Sarah Roque, of Ligonier.
On Tuesday, Oct. 22, Fort Leonard Wood announced that Roque, 23, had been found dead. Her death is under investigation as a homicide, and a person of interest in the suspected homicide was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 24.
Flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise until sunset in Noble County on Saturday, Nov. 2. Gov. Holcomb is asking businesses and residents in Noble County to lower their flags as well.
