ANSWER: JONI TRUEX

Truex was born in San Antonio, Texas. An Air Force brat, she lived in six states and attended four elementary schools. She graduated from Quincy Senior High in Quincy Ill., in 1977. She has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Indiana Tech.

Truex has worked locally as benefits director,  Creighton Brothers;  Kosciusko Chamber, executive assistant; Builders Association Kosciusko Fulton Counties, executive officer; Kosciusko County councilwoman; Heartwood Planning Group – Northwestern Mutual client relations and Ivy Tech Community College Adjunct Faculty Business, H.R. & marketing courses.

She is married to Dale, whom she described as her best friend and love of her life. They have a son, Cory (Christina), and a daughter, Kristen (Brandon), five  grandchildren: Gavin, Kaitlyn (Ben), Jayla, Calub and Kourtlynn, and a great-grandson, William.

Truex enjoys spending time with her family, reading Christian fiction and traveling.
