Brooks Construction Teaches Madison Kindergarteners About Roads
News Release
WARSAW — Kindergarten students at Madison Elementary School recently had a visit from Ryan Ellis and Erick Payton of Brooks Construction.
The boys and girls learned about how roads are made with many layers. Following the lesson, the children enjoyed a snack that was made by layering — much like roads are made.
This was done as part of the weekly “Cruise-In” events that take place each year in the fall. It gives the students an opportunity to learn about community helpers and various careers, and it also fits into the STEM curriculum.
