Warsaw Veterans Day Ceremony Planned For Nov. 11

WARSAW — The annual Veterans Day ceremony will be held beginning at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11, at the Oakwood Cemetery Chapel, 421 N. Maple St. in Warsaw.
The Warsaw Community High School Band will perform, and Pastor Glen Hall, Harvest Community Church, will be the keynote speaker.
At 11 a.m., “Bells of Peace” will be observed by ringing the bell in the cemetery and at the Kosciusko County Courthouse.
Veterans Day, originally called Armistice Day, is observed on Nov. 11 to honor veterans and remember the ending of World War I on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.
American Legion Post 49 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1126, both of Warsaw, invite everyone to attend the ceremony.
