Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 6:47 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, South County Farm Road, north of East CR 900S, Claypool. Driver: Kevin L. Wagoner, 50, West CR 900S, Claypool. A deer ran into the passenger’s side of Wagoner’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

• 6:27 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, North SR 19, north of West CR 350N, Etna Green. Driver: Jacob A. Yoder, 29, Bayview Drive, Fort Wayne. Yoder’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $10,000.

• 2:40 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, North CR 225E, at the intersection of East CR 100N, Warsaw. Driver: Edwin W. Reeves II, 52, EMS B6 Lane, Leesburg. Reeves’ vehicle left the roadway, hitting an old utility pole. Damage up to $10,000.

• 10:07 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, North SR 15, at the intersection of West Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Driver: Philip L. Clauser, 46, East Market Street, Nappanee. A deer hit the passenger’s side of Clauser’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

• 6:55 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, West US 30, at the intersection of South CR 650W, Atwood. Driver: Franklin Flores, 60, Woodview Drive, Jacksonville, Fla. Flores’ vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $10,000.

• 9:22 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, North SR 13, at the intersection of East CR 200N, Pierceton. Driver: De Von Garman, 64, North SR 13, Pierceton. Garman’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $10,000.

• 5:04 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, North SR 15, at the intersection of West CR 900N, Milford. Drivers: Karla E. Cruz, 18, East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw; and Trisha C. Trump, 35, Winchester Trail, Goshen. Cruz was stopped after traveling north on North SR 15 and was attempting to turn left onto West CR 900N. A semi tractor traveling south was also stopped to make a left-hand turn onto West CR 900N. Cruz said she could not see Trump’s vehicle while Trump was attempting to pass the semi on the right side. Trump was taken to Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital for neck pain. Damage up to $25,000.

• 1:55 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, West CR 700S, east of South CR 875W, Mentone. Driver: Vincent Redinger, 55, North Etna Street, Etna Green. Redinger’s vehicle left the roadway, hitting several trees with a large soybean trailer attached to his vehicle. Damage up to $100,000.

• 8:27 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, South SR 15, at the intersection of West CR 200S, Warsaw. Driver: Jean A. Devore, 29, North Columbia Street, Silver Lake. Devore’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $10,000.
