WARSAW — It’s been 10 years since Glam Boutique opened in Warsaw.

To celebrate the anniversary and the business’ move to 108 E. Center St., the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce had a ribbon-cutting, complete with a pink ribbon, on Friday, Nov. 8.

Glam opened on Nov. 6, 2014, at 212 S. Buffalo St., moving in August of this year to Center Street.

While owner Michelle Hansen leased Glam’s former location, she bought the building where the store is now housed.

“It’s exciting to put down deeper roots in the community,” said Hansen.

“There’s also a buzz happening on Center Street, and it’s fun to be part of it,” she added.

The new location still offers a variety of women’s clothing and accessories, but its single-level design makes it easier for customers to shop than the multiple levels of its previous location, said Hansen.

Hansen said she is happy to celebrate 10 years of business in downtown Warsaw.

“It feels really good,” she said. “Retail can be a challenging industry, and the years during the pandemic were tough. So we are thankful to have made it through that difficult time and still be standing.”

“We love the exposed brick in our new storefront, and the clothes seem to really pop here,” said Hansen. “It’s modern and fresh, and it feels like home.”

“We’re all inspired by the space and by what’s happening in the community,” she added. “The feedback from our clients has been very positive, and they are enjoying this elevated space and experience.”

Hansen said her mission has always been to give back and be involved in the community, and she continues to grow that mission.

She said she and her team love styling their clients for their special moments and milestones in their lives.

Hansen said the team focuses on the client’s experience and wants to ensure that they feel seen and appreciated.

“As women, especially as we go through the stages of life, it’s very easy for us to take on so many things that we kind of disappear,” she said.

Hansen said “there’s power” in helping women feel seen and it’s “a passion” of hers.

“We’re trying to help people be their best you,” she said.

She thanked her family, employees, customers and the community for support.

Glam’s hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
