WARSAW — About 50 women attended the Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers’ annual Holiday Program on Thursday, Nov. 7.
“Homemade Christmas” was this year’s theme, with women from Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers leading some of the day’s craft and recipe sessions.
During the morning hours, DeeAnna Muraski, Diann Slaymaker, Eleanor Watkins, Julia Frush, and Judy Egolf gave cooking demonstrations.
Attendees then broke into crafting sessions during the afternoon, making beaded napkin rings, vintage memory books, and a re-purposed CD and angel ornament. The crafting sessions were led by Muraski, Carol Drake, and Sally Lawlor.
Extension Homemakers’ Publicity Chair Alice Keirn said women came from as far as Lake and Allen Counties to participate in the event.
